Bandito is 20+ in classifieds, Goggles are 45 but outdated so rounded down to 40.
goggles are outdated and require a mini
Couldn't find any usable sales: only 2 in circulation atm, 1 (gifted?), other 1 sold for unpriced unusual taunt. There are 3 more but those trades are waaaaay outdated.
well there are 2 sellers at 50 keys in classies
and on outpost there are others as well as 1 at 45 keys
There is also 1 @ 60 so: that averages at 51,.....
So i round that to 52
if it can't sell for 45 and 50, why would 60 even be taken into consideration?
if a hat is outdated and there are no sales at lets say 50 keys and we have sellers at 40, 50 and 100. you don't say the value of that hat is 63 keys since that is just wrong, you would say it's probably 40~ considering it can't sell for that.
therefore in this case the goggles is closer to 45
Pls note that the 45 key seller is "quickselling"
http://prntscr.com/d6ffut
if the seller ages it won't be considered a quicksell and you should use that as your mini.
again, "50, 50, 51/62 overpay, and 60. So 52 seems pretty justified."
that is not how it works
Without the quickseller you get the following seller prices: 50, 50, 51/62 overpay, and 60. So 52 seems pretty justified.
Just found a new sale: the sunbeams goggles sold+ 12 keys for c9 vintage tyrolean worth 65k, which confirms my 52 keys.
Proof: http://prnt.sc/d6uluc
http://prntscr.com/d6v40b
can't ignore the 3 sellers below 52 keys, 1 of which is 2 months old at 51 keys and 1 at 50 keys for a month
it might be 1 or 2 months old but you have to consider that not all traders want the same things, those traders might have been offered offers that they didn't want in overpay or pure, not everyone has pure or reaches someones expectation therefor using months of as an excuse is not very valid. Selling unusuals depends on if someone wants to make profit or wants the item in general.
This trade is old but its still reasonable http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28130124
I agree with the price suggestion, this is my opinion
not to mention that the price suggestions has 2 sale examples your only hitting him with one example dont ignore the other, if he wanted to he could have said 55 keys straight instead of 52-55
the high end is fine which is why i'm not complaining about it, it's the mini for the goggles i'm complaining about since taking 52 keys flat for that is just not accurate
Many sellers sell for below 52 if you pay pure, but if you offer unusuals they want overpay, and because people mostly only pay pure for big discounts/quicksells unless they really want it, this unusuals will only sell full price for other unusuals. And some sellers are really picky so it can take some time to get a good offer.
backpack.tf prices are based off pure prices
you can get the full price pure, but probably won't because you can't make profit on that.
The ~60 key sale is going to capped at 50 due to the B/O: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28586786
The Ze is most realistically ~50-52. The mean for this hat would only change by a key or so so I'd call this close enough.
@OP, using this would prevent these sorts of arguments in the future :D http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-guide-for-unusual-price-suggestions/
