No sellers with fixed price. No classifieds.

Pretty sure you can't raise a price based on offers.

If you can raise on buyers, what's the difference? None for sale below, 2 buyers at current price and the guy turned down 2 refined so it obv needs a raise.

Edit: If the basis for raising on buyers is that someone is willing to pay that then the same logic applies. I know you can't use it for high-value items as people can make offers they might not intend to go through with but doesn't seem likely with a 2 refined item. Idk.

Rules are rules, unless it sells for your suggested price, it's not valid proof ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A offer and a buyer trade are two different things.

          You can raise with offers.

Waaaaaat... all these lost opportunities I have had =(

I actually was told by polar that you can set a high end with solid/confirmed offers even for unusuals. So I'm not sure this is a rule?

Guess I was wrong then... I have seen suggestions closed that were based on offers, hence why I thought it wasn't allowed, my bad.

No worries. I have too, I think it depends on the circumstance of the offer - how solid it was, how high-value the item is, etc.

what if its a fake offer

Who in the right mind would fake an offer?

I mean people fake offers for unusuals which is why it'd need to be something like a trade offer screenshot rather than an offer like that on outpost, but I don't see people faking 2 refined offers for low value items somehow. Plus the guy didn't make this suggestion so what would even be the purpose of that? Hope someone happens to see it and suggest? Lol

Basing a range entirely off offers is an issue. Here you have support in multiple forms - SCM and two buyers at 1.77. So this might be okay. But I'll probably keep it up for some time to see if we can get some better proof of 2.

Ok sounds good, I'll keep an eye out

I keep seeing these pop up on classifieds for 166/1.77 and quickselling, but the two looking for offers on outpost are still unsold so I think I'm just gonna close this for now and keep an eye out for non-quicksales.
