Hello, this is my first suggestion and I am open to any ideas from your side

SOLDS:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19122126#latest - Cloud 9 Hot Dogger + 12 keys pure (Make it ~2,9 buds after substracting overpay)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19102639 - Orbiting Planets Bear Necessities (is listed 2,2 on backpack, however goes for 2,5 buddish -I will leave checking this up to you- on outpost, so make it ~2,4)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18114155 - Accepted the offer of 60 keys (~ 3.05)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19006735 - Circling TF2 Logo Modest Pile of Scrap - Earbud (3,2 on backpack and he added an earbud, make it again around ~2.2 buds)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19126721 - Cloud 9 Tam O'Shanter (doesnt have its price set but goes 3-4 on outpost, I didn't take this into account while making the final price range as I'm not sure whether I should)

Sellers:

Two listings on backpack.tf asking for 3 buds

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19047033 - Asking for 3 buds and only been up for 4 days so that's pretty short for such hat and this trade is identical to the one on backpack

I decided to make the final price range as following: 2,3 for the low end, being middle way between the 2,2 and 2,4, and making 3 the high end, totalling at 2.65 as the "shown" price provided when checking the unusual pricelist. I am open to any suggestions:) Cheers

you're pricing a hat on bp.tf so you can't just make up "goes for 2.5 on outpost". you either use the bp.tf price for a hat, update the price, or you give it a minisuggestion to justify your valuation. also the bear necessities price is outdated anyway so it can't be used as proof.

also the hot dogger price is 9months old, and therefore not usable without either a minisuggestion or an update to that price.

the cloud 9 tam has 2 buyouts on outpost currently, at 2.5 (including a set with items totalling a couple of keys, so actual hat price there is maybe 2.3-2.4) and 3. clearly it doesn't "go 3-4" in reality.

the low end should just be set by your lowest sale, no reason to discount 2.2

3 buds pure looks kinda like an outlier with sales at 2.2, 2.4ish for the bear, and the hot dogger sale which is quite possibly nearer 2 than 3.

I didn't "just make it up", I checked the history of them hats and looked what they got sold for, I clearly can't use backpack.tf pricing since it's outdated on those unusuals, so I juse went with solds on outpost.

Secondly, I didn't take the tam o'shanter trade into account while making the final price, so I don't really see it being a problem.

The reason why I decided 2,3 and not 2,2 is simple, I wasn't sure if 2 month old price is reliable (I assume it is since your comment) so my thinking was: Not that accurate, it was somewhere in the 2,2-2,3 range, 2,3 being the middle way for both of the trades I decided to go with it.

Well yet again, in the paragraph before you say "no need to discount the 2,2" so why should I "discount" the 60 keys when it clearly got sold for it.

because it seems to be a significant outlier, there's a group of sales below 2.5, 3 sticks out. and okay, but then show actual sales and provide a minisuggestion like i said you could. don't just tell us "oh it goes for 2.5 check it yourself" that's not how suggestions work.

We can't base new prices off old ones; as others have pointed out, the planets bear and C9 hot dogger is outdated. You can't just make up prices for outdated hats.
