http://bazaar.tf/trade/131226 buying for 2 keys

Can't track any trades for these down, since there's no search option for these, they are extemely rare.

If you find any trades, post them here.

Wouldn't this be unnecessary as these are normal keys now?

Nope, if you never open TF2, they will remain as Festive Winter Keys. Same with spells, if you never open TF2 with spells in your bp, they will remain in your bp.

Actually, normal keys have 10 different IDs, as event keys (scorched, eerie, fall, festive, 2011 summer cooler, naughty and nice 2011/2012) have completely been removed from the schema and replaced with normal keys, so they'd still be normal keys regardless of opening tf2 or not. Backpack.tf just lists them as such because they're known to have formerly been these kind of keys.

cleverpun's comment on this suggestion also states the same http://backpack.tf/vote/id/508314e149d7b85029000014

Hmm, alright, well that suggestion had no proof. There is still someone paying 2 keys for these types of keys. They still show up as Festive Winter Keys, and there is a willing collector paying 2. I'll let a mod decide.

Still, these being normal keys will make them circulate around as such. Also, regarding collectors paying more - http://puu.sh/3G6qH.png from the last suggestion of this very same item.

The event keys still have the same schema id as when they originally came out.

Backpack.tf shows them with their old image because they still have the orignal schema id.

You can even go and check the schema id on bp viewing sites like optf2.com that lets you check the id of each individual item in your backpack.

Pretty sure opening tf2 has no impact on the keys, since I have opened my tf2 many many time and nothing has happened. I've also heard people claim different things, like that you could open a scorched crate if you went into a server and then traded the crate + the key from an alt account to your main (the same method people are using witht he halloween spell), which turned out to be fake. The crate would be in my backpack but I couldn't use the key on it.

      Ask this gentleman: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/506-selling-a-naughty-2012-key/

DOH! That's the wrong key. IGNORE ME. I'll try to find the correct one I saw.

They are 2 different types of keys.

and he didnt bought one yet in 5 months , probably the price is more and those keys are pretty rare , only 135 of them exists ..

who knows how much collector can pay for it but the price if definitelly wrong and needs an update

          Aren't this untradable?

You're thinking of the Stocker Stuffing Key (I think that's what it's called)

Yeah lol, I just find that out xp

Well, I happen to have one in my backpack and I charged 4 keys on his trade...let's see what his response is.

              lol, this will be interesting.

But it's a good idea to update all the old keys...I sold a naughty winter key 2011 at 3 normal keys...don't know about other keys.

Sold for 4 keys ^^ Thanks to anyone participating and special thanks to Liquid Fire for buying.

                    ....lol gg

Not sure about putting 4 keys in the range though.

That's the question....I'd say it is still 1 key as it is used as one. That trade was only an outlier. :3

On the other hand...this item is pretty rare...so not many trades are made and this could be the only one within a year or so.

I don`t get it, why would anyone want something in a game that they can`t use?

Same reason why people value genuines or vintages over regular items (most of the time)

                  Collectors.
