http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8100209 - No takers

Yeah, so no one is willing to pay 1 refined or more for this thing nowadays. Sorry for not getting that much proof, I got bored. Let me know if you think I need more.

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7616136 has a person offering a ref...

I buy these at 0.66 pretty easy, but I get ubersaws more often, and those are listed higher on the pricelist.

One of your .33 buyers also has festive grenade launchers and huntsmen. I don't think he can be used as a pricing source if he's lowballing everything to the extreme.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7611888 has only gotten a buff banner offered last week.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7829574 values them the same as an axtinguisher and ubersaw.

I could be wrong, but it seems like all festives are low demand right now. These are usually sold in sets, and not seperately, so I understand why.

As to the person offering a refined, that was 2 days ago. And it appears that he still has no buff banner and the guy selling them still has two buff banners. The only reasonable explanation is that both have been offline for the past few days for some reason.

If you buy them at .66 pretty easily, then that would mean lots of people are perfectly willing to sell for that.

That .33 buyer may be lowballing to the extreme, but it can in fact be used as a pricing source if multiple people are willing to pay his price.

you know, I've put up a trade where I tried to buy festives 1 rec each... I have 320 festives, that does not mean at all that I bought any at 1 rec, in fact I haven't bought any for lower than 2 rec on outpost, outpost festives range from .66-1.66 and huntsman/grenade at 1.66-2.66 ref

you should add me to proof links. I am buying all festives for 1 ref

Well, you seem to be having a large amount of success as you have plenty of festives (including buff banners) and almost no metal. That would tell me that people rushed to sell you their festives.

And why can't you post your own link?

downvote, range seems good for now, a few sellers @ 0.66, a few buyers @ 1.00, some in the middle, and some outliers.

        I prefer a ranged price...

0.66-1 seems fine (0.33 is damn lowballing)

link 3 someone bought 2 buff banners for 1 ref

Upvote. Not enough people play MVM to actually want this.

what does MVM have to do with this? I use the Buff and I don't play MVM

It is pretty rare when I see them on Payload. I do see them yes. But I think MVM I see it far more often on soldiers.

every good soldier I know uses this or the concheror, very rarely do I see a good soldier with a shotgun

I wasn't saying good soldiers. I was telling you what I see actively playing the game :-) Kind of like I don't see many soldiers rocket jumpering into market gardners. Good soldiers do it for fun, but I don't see it often.

Pleanty of people use the buff i do in mvm and normal gaming

                      I guess I'll start counting.

Nobody wants this thing, it's truly worthless. I would probably just craft them into scrap to save time.

Yeah, I sold like 10 to a buyer for .66 each and a few for 1 ref. in a buying thread. Guy needed to finish his set n the other guy was buying steady at .66.

There is absolutely no reason for any festive to go down. Just because demand has gone down doesn't mean they're worth any less. Downvote.

"Just because demand has gone down doesn't mean they're worth any less." Anything else you say is now invalid because of that (Insert politically correct word for idiotic here) statement.

While that may be a stupid thing to say in the real world, you clearly have yet to realize this is a computer game, and virtual items don't pertain to real economics in the least.

The tf2 economy may be a virtual economy, but it is still a living, breathing, and real economy. Why do you think we have this site if values always stay the same?

I can see you're new here.

I'm not new, I've been playing and trading for over a year- This is the url of my main account: http://backpack.tf/id/aaspyre

I agree that tf2 has a complex economy- nobody can deny that. I simply meant to say that because there will never be any more in the game, there's no reason for the price to decrease. With most items, values typically only rise/fall in accordance with their rarity. That's the reason why bills, buds, severed heads, and HOUWARs don't fluctuate in price. I see no reason for festives to fall just because there isn't as much demand for them. I didn't mean any disrespect, I just hold the opinion that these really shouldn't go down in price.

Oh and yes, I do have a festive buff banner in my main account's backpack, but that's not affecting my argument at all- I'm just trying to collect all the festives. :)

Just because its a game doesnt mean prices don't rise and fall according to SUPPLY AND DEMAND. Tons of these banners have been unboxed and less and less people want them. No one will pay over .66 for one, believe me I've tried to sell multiple. The point of this site is simple -- give a general idea of prices that items are going for. If demand is down, price goes down. If I have an xbox 360 in the real economy and try to sell it for $400 for which it was originally sold for no one would buy it because the demand is down, plus people are selling for less

                http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8118188

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7616136 Has an offer of 1 ref

Those are the only 2 I can find in your unsold that are now counter proof. Staying neutral still though.

I stopped caring a while ago, I'll leave it up to the mod.

My friend offered me 1 ref flat or a hat :| so why should i vote up for this :|

All festives worth 1 ref or more

                      That comment gave me aids.

Your rude comments on other people's comments gave me aids a long time ago.

Okay, he edited his comment. At the time, it was most unintelligent...

Very good proof, upvote. Not many people seem to want this Festive.

On an unrelated topic, does anyone know how many Classified listings one can put up without donating or joining the steam group? Is it limited to one?

Every dollar donated equates to one extra listing, and joining the group gives you 4 extra, so I'm assuming the default maximum is one.

I believe the maximum is actually 6.

                            That seems kind of arbitrary

I remember listing a bunch of my items at once back when I wasn't part of the steam group and it wouldn't let me list more than six. The reason I am uncertain is because it may have been 8.

                                All right, then, thanks.

U cant get this anymore it should be going up not down

                            Like all uncraftable hats?

at the same time, there are tons of them and fewer people care about having christmas lights on their weapons after christmas

                            pootis

It's not too hard to find these unsold at 2 reclaimed. I found these in the last hour of listings on Outpost:

                                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8128138 2 rec x 2

                                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7948519 2 rec

                                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8155670 2 rec

                                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8155670 2 rec

Unfortunately, I was restricted to only the last hour of listings as over 20 pages of these were listed or bumped in just the last hour.

On top of all that, these don't seem to fetch 1 refined (or even 0.88 ref) all that well:

on outpost. I have a shop set up buying festives for a ref. There is not need to move to .66.

BTW Master: If you cant take criticism from people and only have rude things to say, please do not make suggestions. The comment section is for opinions too. If someone doesnt like your range, let them rage and cry but there is no need to be hostile to them and calling them "the politically correct term for idiot".

Your opinion has been noted for future reference.

Also, I would like to note that one person willing to buy for a certain price does not dictate the price.

I know it does not indicate much but it does show someone is willing to pay a price. as i said opinion. simple.

                                        you're paying too much
