User Report: 76561198040898430 (Kenny93 B>keys $1.72&Bps)

They wanted me to log in to tf2status.com And if you check, the log in window, doesn't actually belong to steam community, but their own. Thats the first red flag. At the bottom the text and valve logo is arranged different that the real steam site. I actually logged in, but i immediately changed my password. The bot belonging to this person is completely full and cannot be traded with, and im 99% sure those items are stolen too. This person wanted me to log into that scam site, deposit my items, take a screenshot, and then withdraw them. As if that would ever let me do that. Anyway, fuck this person

Hello, please provide Uncropped and Unedited screenshots of your ENTIRE chat with the user from this page -- https://help.steampowered.com/en/accountdata/GetFriendMessagesLog -- Please find them on a web browser and hover your mouse over the name of the user you are interacting with so we can see the URL at the bottom left corner of the screen. Then upload them to an image hosting service (imgur for example) and post the links to your evidence of screenshot here.

Example- should look like this - https://imgur.com/MjGyin8

Please note that just changing the password might NOT be enough, you also need to revoke Steam API key as described here:

    https://forums.steamrep.com/pages/hijacking/

    https://marketplace.tf/blog/posts/YHLZOB

Also I'm 99% sure you were talking to impersonator and not to 76561198040898430

Yes..... It was an imposter..... But i dont understand that when i blocked the imposter the real one got blocked... Like, i went straight from the chat window to its profile, but i was redirected to the real person's profile.... Im sorry.

Impersonator often have their link directly link to their impersonated victim. I highly recommend using - https://rep.tf/ - to check who you are trading with. Copy the user's Steam ID directly from their profile URL and paste it where prompted. Do not use any links that they give you to do this check as scammers will often give you links that link to the user they are impersonating.

Now, do you plan to continue with this report? You did not provide what I requested in my initial comment.
