http://puu.sh/cm6WP/e268ddb8fb.png - 100 pure
Creamy got his for 3hats, 1outdated + 1 unpriced unable to price unusual. ~60ish++ also outlier.
Seems good, upvote. But where did he get 100 buds from
paypal ofcourse
Why is 60 the outlier and not 100?
60 is a rough price estimate as I mentioned above since it involved a "Scorching Hive Minder" AkA unpriced and no usable sales to have it priced (neither up for sale) - Going by that, and it went rather quick. I'd say 100 is more accurate than ~60ish in unusuals.
Well just because its not a price-able sale doesn't make it a useless sale. And I could argue either way, the Jefe wasn't up for trade anywhere, that might explain why the 2nd sale took longer than the first one.
I'm not taking any sides here, just questioning the 100% super easy clear suggestion mentality. :P
Since when has Soul Rebel been known to quicksell anything. Both he and Creamy are among the most experienced traders in god-tier hats. They decided the value on this was in the 60-70 range. I would trust that range more than 100 flat tbh.
- Cheapest and only Burning Jefe available.
- Pure & most recent sale > unstable & only in unpriced/outdated unusuals.
I disagree. It isn't like the burning TC case where there wasn't any other sales to compare. The Jefe was up for trade, and if SoulRebel was willing to trade the Jefe for hats around the 60-70 buds, it also meant that he was pretty much willing to accept any pure offers around that range. Creamy is a collector, and obviously wasn't planning on selling it until Bob came along and paid the 100 buds. This, I feel, was an outlier, because Bob would've gotten at a much lower price if he offered on SoulRebel's trade earlier. So putting it at 100 buds flat isn't really an accurate pricing of the hat.
So when you said "cheapest and only Burning Jefe available", how sure are you? As far as I know, as compared to the TC case, Bob did offer on other Burning TCs as well, and only HLA accepted his offer, fair enough, other sellers weren't interested in selling for below that price. What about other Jefe sellers? There are 3 other owners which I doubt Bob was in contact with all of them. Maybe its because they weren't interested in listening to offers, but they never did state their price or hear Bob's offer as well. So saying that its the cheapest and only Burning Jefe available isn't exactly an accurate expression since Creamy did not mention anywhere that he was selling as well, and other owners might be willing to sell for much lower than 100 if they, by any chance, listen to bob's offer.
1 scammer alt, 2 inexperianced no/barely any trades guys that don't add anyone.
Not sure why the Jefe would be more accurate with this trade that went within a week - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22894989 compared to a pure sale.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198054186815 - banned for private profile doesn't make him a scammer btw. Outpost doesn't just ban for scamming.
I've already stated why I feel that the 60 buds in unusuals trade would be more accurate in my comment above, so yeah, not going to argue further. See how it goes then.
Just pitching in why the hat wasn't for sale, I believe creamy was banned on outpost so he relies on TF2-T's unusual trading server to sell his items.
i can vote on this what?
Looks good Upvote
lol i can vote for this even tho i have a 12bud bp,LOGIC,upvote ;-;
Because your bp was worth nearly 30 buds 2 weeks ago and I'm sure you have at least x4 as multiplier. :P
holy crap, upvote
A burning hive minder is 7.doesnt matter though this is fine

Whoops I was thinking sbtwc. Burning is pending at 10_12
god damn
This doesn't surprise me at all honestly. Was the most expensive single-class unusual for ages for a reason. Told creamy he got a steal on it and I didn't know what he actually paid heh. Not a fan of the hat but every time you see a burning jefe on a server (For me one time total besides the newly unboxed one in all this time. Seriously.) it's a big deal. The main problem with this is a characteristic "overpayor" bought it, but can you really say it wouldn't pull around this price again? I would have paid a gold pan if I'm honest, and again that's purely for the iconic value, don't even like the hat as much as other scout hats. Upvote
"can you really say it wouldn't pull around this price again?" - no burning jefe ever - in server, on outpost, anywhere - has ever gotten any offer even close to 100 that i know of.
That's why we can say it wouldn't pull this price again. I have spoken to several high profile traders regarding this suggestion - traders who have acute knowledge of this particular hat and it's history on the market - and most people find it ridiculous.
I want to emphasize this point again. We have accepted a lot of suggestions based on a single Bob purchase. See Burning TC and a lot of the other TCs. Check out the AF Nunhood. There are situations where we really can't say he "overpaid." This is not one of those cases. This suggestion is much more similar to the Burning KE suggestion that was recently made since there are other sales and serious questions about which is the outlier.
