Sold the Chemistry set at x1 for 15 keys pure: http://i.imgur.com/1LdqxFB.png

None on Outpost, 2 here and a non-ks one at 10 keys minimum. Let's see how it goes =)

Wouldn't it be a better idea to price the Chemistry Set with your sale instead of the completed item? Most people would pay more for a chem set to get that sweet one man history/original ID, and i'm pretty sure we both know that. :P

Also, the 10 key seller seems to have been unsold for ~9+ days so there's also that: http://backpack.tf/item/2869360633

But the chem set only has 1 left which I thought usually those kinds of sales went towards pricing the completed product?

That may be the case with items such as collector's cosmetics that go for a really high value anyways, but doing that for a common item such as this is likely a bad idea, in my opinion at least.

Thought I've seen sales like this be used before (successfully) for other collector's weapons, but I might be wrong/ remembering incorrectly as well. :)

Chemsets -1 are valid proof for pricing the item. Always have been.

This has happened before, and when there are unsuccessful sellers for lower it doesn't make sense to use this kind of sales for the finished weapon.

Pricing the chemistry set in this case would make more sense, since it's made of weapons worth half a scrap, and it's certainly what makes it more valuable.

A full chemset is invalid for pricing the chemset.

If the sale is an outlier for the weapon, then there's no valid evidence to be had here at all.

Well, it would be a shame that rare chemistry set sales like this got lost, but i do get your point.

Well why don't pricing both then? :P

I have to agree. We will reluctantly accept suggestions based on chem sets if there is no other info available. This should be used to price the chem set not the collector's item. In this case we have one that took 11 days to sell for 10 keys for the actual item. Should be priced at 10 flat.
