Oh boy, first suggestion, gonna fail, whoops.

I've been watching these for a while (because I really want one) and really, no one's selling for 2 keys. They seem to sell at 3 too, but it's hard to find sellers in the first place, let alone proof of solds especially considering I don't know what I'm doing

At time of listing:

3x in the Classifieds for 3 keys (well, one for 5 keys because he doesn't know level 100 is one of the most common levels, right?... Right?)

Outpost:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22732343 Sold for high end backpack.tf price, being 3 keys (almost forgot to add, it only took him a week or less, if you look at the time the trade was made.)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22868758 Recent, selling for 3 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22828646 Recent, selling for 3 keys

And that's just Outpost and the Classifieds, which shows finding 2 key sellers is nigh impossible.

Bazaar wasn't much better, two trades up, one with no notes and the other selling for 'backpack.tf price,' which I assume would be 3 keys but eh. Really, this seems like a whole lot of nothing, but there are next to zero trades up for this thing, and all are selling for 3 keys. If you can find a 2 key seller I applaud you and feel free to counter with it as proof, but I really think this needs a bump to 3 keys. As I said, this is my first suggestion, I hope I didn't screw up... I can't tell if this is gonna go through or not, but constructive criticism is always appreciated. Thanks.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22709711 - sold for 3 possibly (at least 2.75) pretty quick

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22194006 - sold for 2 (month old and looks like it might be a quicksell?)

Also notable that the SCM price is def. above 3 keys worth, so this is pretty good.

Thanks, didn't see these. Probably because they were closed, though. I'll glance around a li'l more and see what else there is to see, thanks to this.

You need solds, not selling in order to raise the price. Therefore, the last two links you provided do not strengthen your case, and all you really have is the first link.

On TF2 Outpost, only one page exists. I noticed that there are some solds, but some of them did not specify their selling price. Another I noticed was sold much less than 2 keys.

I'm going to stay neutral for now. Maybe if you can find information on the other unsold prices, I think this could work.

I take it you mean dasjoker's trade. Yes, it was sold for much less than 2 keys, but can you prove it wasn't a quicksell? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'd appreciate it. If it was a quicksell, that doesn't really help or hurt much either way. But thanks for the feedback.

Almost forgot to add, in this case since there are no 2 key sellers, except for dasjoker which could be a quicksell, sellers do kind of strengthen my case in a way, since they prove nobody is willing to sell at 2 keys. I get what you mean, though.

I can see your arguments are reasonable in order to prove your case.

After reconsidering a bit, I can see that sellers may strengthen your case somewhat, but you may also want to consider the demand. For example, you can have sellers as much as 5 keys, but are people even wanting to purchase the item at that price range, or will they wait until someone posts a cheaper price?

Referring to dasjoker's trade, I cannot prove that it wasn't a quicksell, and this for certain definitely strengthens your case, because there is a specific demand within that price, despite the lack of supply.

Like I stated before, I do believe it can pass with just a bit more confirmed proof, transforming into a solid suggestion. If only we can just find it though.

True. It's extreeemely hard to prove people are buying for 3 keys, because they're pretty much borderline rare items, in terms of how many actually exist. Seriously, there aren't even a thousand yet... considering how many people play TF2, this is significant. Not to mention that compared to other Engie items and cosmetics, Strange Ein seems to sit low on the range of 'I want this' from what I've gathered. Still, they ARE selling at 3 keys from what I've observed. In terms of waiting for someone to post a cheaper price, it seems to me people just aren't doing that.

Thank you very much for the input, though! I'm still working on gathering a tad more proof. Hopefully we can make this work. I'm still a moron though

I agree, i just watched the price on steam market and it's like 3,6 keys.

Thanks for pointing that out. You guys are swell, pointing out closed trades and the Steam Community Market. I didn't think of checking those places. :o I'll have to remember to do that for future suggestions.

Just a friendly reminder; SCM prices can't be used to set prices however they can be used to support the trend you're presenting.

          those are unsolds -_- downvote.

Updating: Every 3 link I posted on Outpost sold, both LamBaCini's and X7Soldier's are GONE from their backpacks, proving that they indeed sell at 3 keys. Also a good time to point out to Elizabeth, who claims they're unsold: please take the time to check their backpacks, they no longer have their Strange Eins on hand, strongly implying they sold for 3 keys.

As I am currently killing my collection (sadly), here you go. Your suggestion is all good. Nothing wrong with it. Let me just confirm it with this.

Thank you for the extra proof, I appreciate it.

This is a surprisingly good suggestion.

                Proof is rather good, upvote.

For finding solds i recommend using trade.tf it shows sold ones but not all though

Great proof, i would support your proof if i wasnt busy
