This suggestion was marked as bad evidence and closed by A Distinctive Lack of Vincent.

There should always be enough evidence to back up the new proposed value. However, it appears that the evidence is not strong enough, or cherry-picked in a way that does not represent the actual market value of the item. Therefore, this suggestion has been closed.

Ok, so all of the sellers on Outpost are either selling in sets, have low craft numbers or are uncraftable apart from 2.

One is selling for 2 buds and the other, my own is selling for 12 keys.

The G-What's proof:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19600971 9.7 keys, instantly got an add and sold <1 day.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19196003 10 keys sold a while ago.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19473275 10 keys sold, not sure when, <1 week.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18558690 Absurd highball, but got an offer for 10 keys.

I merely added some notes to this proof. It was all found by The G-What and I claim none of it.

Now, since no new proof has arisen since this last suggestion, I turn to the SCM.

So over the past week it's been trading at ~$29. I don't know how to work this with fees and shit but I am quite sure that that is more than 10 keys.

So, seeing as I can't even provide 9 key solds, there are no sellers for less than 12 on Outpost and Bp and 10 sells reasonably quick, I am proposing a 10 key flat range.

Thanks for voting : )

I know alot of people don't care about the SCM pricing but, your proof looks good to me either way. Upboat !!!

I was told not to suggest a range for 10 flat by mods. We can't use SCM as proof, either. To answer your question, Valve takes %15 out of the sale price. So in order to be 10 keys on SCM it would have to be $30, which only 2 solds show.

        SCM = supporting proof

Wouldn't it be $25? Shouldn't it go on what the buyer is paying, not what the seller is receiving?

In your suggestion you had no proof at all for 9 and I believe it was too conservative.

SCM isn't my sole proof, it merely supports my range.

*shrug* Hey man, I'm with you. I'm just telling you what I was told, especially since you're using the same proof with the SCM added. Just trying to be helpful. Honestly 10 keys is a quicksell, but until more solds appear I can't see mods passing this.

Yeah, I just thought that proof for 10 was enough that 9 was no longer needed.

Whether Moderators accept scm as proof or not, it does not deny you 10 keys from scm.

Keys cost $2.49 in the mann co. store. you require at least $24.90. If you add the 15% fee, you would require at least $28.63. At least 7 of his scm sales cover up the mann co. store prices (10 keys), this is not even considering the current prices keys in scm right now, which is probably way cheaper.

Whether mods accept it or not, they cannot deny the fact that using scm gives you 10 keys, valid proof or not.

Not quite doing it right. The 15% is taken off the sale price, not what the seller ultimately collects. To translate what the seller gets into the price they must sell to receive desired price, divide the final collected price by 0.85- in this case, $24.90/0.85 = $29.29.

              To demonstrate:

              $28.63 - ($28.63*0.15) = $24.34

              $29.29 - ($29.29*0.15) = $24.90

That leaves only 3 valid SCM sales

'One is selling for 2 buds'

            'Absurd highball'

            I'm notourious! Muhahaha,

I see you everyday in my search for Arch's.

For the record, I'm with you too. These are uncommon and severely undervalued. But yeah, asking for 4 times the next highest buyout might be a little bit of a highball, don'tcha think?

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19625947#p54878400 - Someone added me for 12 keys. But I can't accept until later. Demand is there.

It is all a matter of time and lots of waiting. I'm definitely not selling mine until I see it peak in value (or if that value does reach two buds). As you say, they are very uncommon.

                      http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19625947#latest - Sold for 12. Needs a raise.

You might as well create a new price change suggestion then. ;)

Sadly, you can't use your own sales as sole proof for the high end : (

Fair enough, although understandable thinking about it.

the guy who made the outpost trade for the s. arch for 2 buds is an attention whore trying to get people to talk about him. It's sad that there are so many trades on outpost like this.

I'll bite. I was considering ignoring this post, but due to my 'not-so-serious' remarks on here, I'll clarify some things.

                        1) My trade is 100% serious.

                        2) Despite my 'jokey' posts on here, it is more a retort to the people who have berated me for 'not following the backpack.tf price' (with many using juvenile insults). I just find it funny that people would get rather offended for not following some form of abstract rule. Despite some frustrations with such people (like yourself), I do laugh at the situation overall.

If you still consider this to be 'attracting attention' though, tu quoque.

These items are set at those price because sold with tax, they would be able to get 25 dollars = 10 keys. + It's steam money and not TF2 money (ref bills and buds - you probably know).

Seems good, but the proof just isn't enough.

I've provided 10 key sales and my SCM proof was merely to support the range. I was not using it as sole proof. If in your eyes my proof is insufficient then downvote. But if you'll kindly have a look on Outpost, the cheapest seller is 2 buds. So, where's this more proof?

                        Muhahahahaha!

I didn't know a Pikachu could speak English.

The only proof added since last suggestion is that of SCM, and even those sales range across the board from 9-10 keys once fees are taken into account. ($26.36 - $29.39)

                        Closing.
