#DIRTYWHIP2013 Alright, resuggesting since I have some more valid proof.

Here's some proof:

http://i.imgur.com/ODC64la.png and http://i.imgur.com/ZPQfaMe.png - sold for 0.22

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11198461 - sold for 0.22

Completely unrelated: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11149180 <--unsold for a reclaimed.

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10948455

You bought it for a weapon, and you made 1 trade for 2 scrap. Show us these aren't being able to be bought for 1 weapon.

Actually, I didn't buy it for a weapon, the guy under me got it. Notice that the disciplinary action with that ID never ended up in my backpack.

Additionally, if you look at the item history it was never sold, and it's STILL in his backpack.

Raising the price because you overpayed, downvote.

Find me some valid counterproof and I will be glad to close this. Oh, and there's two links, in case you didn't notice :)

two links are TOTALLY enough proof for a down vote. if you had 10 or 15, then we'll talk.

Alright then, how would you go about finding proof for an item like this?

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/113940058

There are a grand total of two (2) trades on TF2OP for this item. If you have some magical way of acquiring 15 links of proof for this item, I will gladly close this trade and let you take over.

now i see why there are only two links. but the one with Gen. Patton came in a set, so its pretty much useless. the other one is for (im guessing) a half a scrap each.

Yeah, the General Patton one was named and described. The other one though, I dunno, the guy supposedly accepted two offers of 1 weapon (one of them was mine) but he never ended up selling it. Weird.

are you sure he didn't have duplicates?

Probably not, who dupes an uncraft weapon?

EDIT: If you meant he has more than one of the item, it's not in his bp anymore, so no.

      http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10948455 he's selling for 0.05

it's impractical to use your own trade as valid proof. just because you made somebody overpay for an item doesn't mean it should be raised in price. If you managed to buy it for a weapon, what's the logical reason why your price is 0.22?

The logical reason why the price should be 0.22 is because of the other trade at 0.22, not just mine. I'm in fact going to remove mine, I think, since it's causing so much confusion.

Could you tell us what the "other" trade is?

You posted two; one of you buying for 0.22, and one of you selling for 0.22.

But no, you bought another one at 1 weapon, so I don't see why 0.05 and 0.11 are out of the range.

The 'other trade' is the one where I posted it up for offers, and someone ended up adding me to pay 0.22 for it. As I mentioned before: I did not buy another one at 1 weapon. We did not end up trading. If you look at the item history, you'll see that it never left the seller's backpack.

Click on the disciplinary action. See how it only says Kaboom's name on it? That means he's the only one who has ever owned it. He did not sell it to me.

Is this a joke? There's 5 here right now, 2 for a scrap. Or is uncraftable somehow worth more?

        http://scrap.tf/weapons?bot=5

Uh, uncraftable is worth more because there's less of them. If you look on stats.tf you'll find that there are far less uncraftables than regulars. A perfect example is the Cow Mangler 6K, if you look it up you'll see the regular version is worth half a scrap (like all weapons) but the uncraft version is worth 0.66.

Ok so I have a level 3 Brown Bomber and there are 203 of those. There are 238 of the level 100's. Does that mean mine is worth more because they are less?

There's a difference between levels and craftable/uncraftable. For instance, there's not much of a difference between 203 and 238, whereas there's a difference between 775000 and 12000 (which is the statistic for the disciplinary action). Just look at some of the other items that have a higher-priced uncraftable version. With your argument, you're not going against me, you're going against a site policy that's been around for quite some time.

Ok, I understand what you're saying and I agree with your original post. That makes sense. Thanks.

Basically, a while ago, there was a small hype on uncraftables once they made store-bought items craftable. I don't think it's rarity that's a factor in this one.

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10429110 - 0.11

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10538654 - 0.11

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10948455 - 0.05 -it got sold, check his backpack, i even know who bought it.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10843602 - 0.11 - doesn't show up in trade, but I can see it in buyers backpack, he also doesn't state a price, but when you look on his other uncraftable weapons trades he seems to accept 1 scrap

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9604518 -0.22 (old)

Recently alot of them got sold for around 1 scrap. However, there are none right now on the market so if someone would put his up he probably could get 2 scrap for it indeed, however again, I base myself upon what is sold, not what someone can get for a new suggestion.
