The steam market price of $1.61 converts to 4.66 ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9756459 - 1 key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9738504 - 1 key 1 ref (check the pack that key and ref came from current owner)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9693290 - at least 1 key
Can get more proof but FH was accepted with about the same.
Again I got this lol.
1 key is not enough as sales for 2 keys can be found.
Check a post by Freeman on outpost. I am on mobile on a Florida Vacation so difficult to update.
I've had a trade selling at one key up for 4 hours now, only sold one so far ... on a trade server.
What's ur point
Dude what you dont understand clearly is that steam market prices are fucked up as hell,
Key: http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Mann%20Co.%20Supply%20Crate%20Key not the ~1.35 we are used to
Tomb wrapper: http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Genuine%20Tomb%20Wrapper
from the steam market view, this is worth LESS than a key
They were used to justify the fotune hunter price
Last time I checked you couldn't but a key on the beta market for $1.61 so that definitely doesn't covert to 4.66 refined.
~35 is the value of 1 ref. $0.35*4.66refs=$1.63 The beta market is really not a good source for key prices. Keys are usually valued at $1.35 paypal, which would be a better source than the beta market.
You are basing the price based on what it sells for on the market, not what it sells for on PayPal. There are multiple prices for keys you could have used.
Paypal: $1.33-1.36
Beta Market: $2.16-2.19 (what you are using)
Mann. Co. Store: $2.49
You cannot use PayPal price for keys when these are not being sold over PayPal.
I am not even using Paypal for key to ref cash exchange. I am simply using the dollar value of a Refined as posted here on this site. I was simply stating that he probably dun goofed and said beta market instead of Paypal, as that would be closer to his price for keys. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
backpack.tf already has a section that deals with beta market sales and their converted value into refined: http://backpack.tf/market
It uses the average selling price for keys along with the average price of keys in refined in order to calculate the refined value of the item.
The price listed there is not the same as the one shown in steam market. The recent sales there show it at 1.60
$1.60 (steam market price) / $0.35 (bp.tf price for ref) = 4.66
Did you not already read my responses to the other guy? I'm not repeating myself.
Bp.tf price not the same as markey
A key on backpack.TV is listed at $1.40 why would anyone pay more for it? Yet on the steam beta market keys easily sell for $2.19 so there using the price of backpack.ft to price market price does not equal more than a key.
